We’re very excited to let you know that Harwell Village Hall has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2017, the UK’s largest match funding campaign.  Last year, thanks to generous supporters like you, the campaign raised over £7.2 million for participating charities.

We will be raising money for our project to support the Performing Arts, which includes stage spotlights and sound and lighting consoles.  Donations to this project will be matched for 7 days from 12pm on 28th November, #GivingTuesday.  Donations can be made using a credit or debit card and we are asking all our user groups to collect donations from their participants and make one donation for the group. Is this something you feel you could do with your groups?

What happens during the Christmas Challenge?

Online donations made to our project via theBigGive.org.uk will be doubled during the campaign from a fund made up of pledges (promises of money made earlier). If you would like to support our work this year, we highly recommend doing so during the Christmas Challenge when your donation will be doubled, at no extra cost to you, and make even more of a difference to us.

What do I need to do?

• Add a calendar reminder to your diary for 12 noon on 28th November
• Have your credit or debit card details ready when you make your donation
• Click the button above to go the Big Give website to donate.

Please note you must not pre-fill your details prior to 12 noon. A clear message will be displayed to indicate when the Challenge has started and when your donation will be doubled.
