Orchard Film Club: A United Kingdom

On Saturday 18th November our film is the acclaimed “A United Kingdom” starring David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike.
It tells the true story of Seretse Khama, the King of Bechuanaland (modern Botswana), and Ruth Williams, the London office worker he married in 1948 in the face of fierce opposition.
Tickets will be on sale in Bob’s Butchers soon and are £5 per person. As usual, on the night the doors and bar will open at 7pm, film starts at 7.30pm and you can buy your tickets on the door too!
