“It’s a Wild Life” presented by entomologist George McGavin (the Bug Man)
A chance to hear an entertaining talk about the life of a world
expert in insects, in aid of a very good cause.
As well as being an award-winning TV Presenter, a guest on Desert Island Discs, and an entertaining and lively speaker, George is President of the Dorset Wildlife Trust and Honorary Research Associate at Oxford University Museum of Natural History. George also has the distinction of having several species of insects named in his honour.
George’s fee and all funds raised from Tickets, the Bar and a Bucket Collection will go to Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
Tickets are £5 per person (cash only) and are available from Bob’s Butchers and The Harwellian and on the door.
Doors and bar open at 7pm, the talk begins at 7.30pm.
