Picking up nearly forty years after the original film, ‘The Railway Children Return’ takes us on an exciting and heart-warming journey with a group of evacuee children during World War 2.

1944 – Lily, Pattie and Ted Watts are sent by train from Salford to the village of Oakworth, Yorkshire.  On the platform to meet them are Bobbie Waterbury (Jenny Agutter, reprising her iconic role in the original film), her daughter, Annie (Sheridan Smith), and grandson Thomas.  The evacuees soon settle into their new life in the countryside but they discover injured American soldier Abe hiding out in the railyard, they are thrust into a dangerous quest to assist their new friend who, like them, is a long way from home.

We are able to take contactless payments for tickets and bar sales on the night!

Doors and bar will open at 7pm, film will start at 7.30pm.
